Born and raised in Jacksonville, I’ve been fortunate to do this for ten years, and I've spent six years at a cat-only clinic. I love specializing in feline medicine and care. I then worked in a dog/cat/pocket pet/ exotic animal clinic and broadened my knowledge and experience. I now work in Emergency and Specialty Medicine. I love learning everything I can about this field, but my favorite aspect of my job is building relationships with clients and pets. I started my animal experience volunteering with rescue, and I’m still actively rescuing on my own today. There’s a foster cat or three at my house at all times. When not working, I enjoy everything Disney and Marvel, spending time with friends and lounging on my couch watching movies with my cats and dogs. I have a German Shepherd named Kiara, and a Golden Retriever named Kovu, both rescues. My clowder includes Peter Parker, Phoenix, Mufasa, Logan, and Oliver.
Veterinary Nurse / Receptionist
Hi! I’m Becca. I’m originally from NJ, and I worked for a specialty and level 1 trauma emergency veterinary clinic for seven years, mostly in the dentistry and oral surgery department. When I moved to Jacksonville in December 2019, I worked in a general practice clinic for two years. I needed a break from the veterinary world and took a year off. I missed working with the clients and their fur babies, so I returned to working in a veterinary clinic as a receptionist. I love the “behind the scenes” work in a clinic, such as creating appointments, running lab work, and working in the pharmacy. When I am not at work, I enjoy hanging with my husband and our golden retriever, Davy Jones, and cat, Leia. I love to be outside and connect with nature, but I also love curling up on the couch with a good book!

Hi, I’m Shannon! Born and raised in Jacksonville. I began my veterinary journey in 2014 and have loved every minute. After spending a few years as a veterinary technician, I found myself really enjoying the client care side and developing client relations. Two years ago, I started an equine boarding and training facility. I am fond of riding my horses, teaching students, and spending time with my husband in my free time. I have one horse, two dogs, and five cats that I adore.
