About the Role
Support a veterinarian in all tasks
Assist with scheduling
Use Covetrus Pulse software during appointments
Handle diagnostic samples and submission forms to idexx labs
Assist with restraint of animals in a variety of settings - cat handling experience is a plus
Requirements
3+ years of vet tech experience
Knowledge of flea/tick/heartworm products and vaccine protocols
Knowledge of anesthesiology and ability to assist during surgical and dental procedures
Skilled in fear-free restraint techniques
Flexible and comfortable going into clients’ homes/different environments
Ability to draw blood in front of clients
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Enjoy client communication and education
Professional appearance and interpersonal skills
Bilingual is a plus
Reliable transportation
Available Monday-Saturday
Can lift and carry animals up to 40 lbs
Certification as a Veterinary Technician is a plus
